Our Programs > After School Program Grants

“Sometimes a program's benefits extend even beyond where they are expected. Several of last spring's Mural Club participants were newcomers to the United States. They appreciated having a safe and comfortable venue for learning skills, contributing ideas, and for socializing...these students were able to learn about and connect with their new school environment in a meaningful way” – Mural Club facilitator, Pam Consear, Oakland Technical High School
