One Facebook Grant recipient was Girls to Women, a nonprofit that aims to create a nurturing environment to promote the development of young girls. The East Palo Alto-based nonprofit received a $5,000 grant through the Fund to support summer field trips. These field trips act as an outlet for girls like the one above to engage in positive summer activities where they can learn and thrive.
