For Grant Seekers
Since its founding in 1991, PVF has awarded over $98 million in grants that have made a powerful and positive difference in the community.
PVF administers donor-advised funds, designated funds and grant programs. Much of the funding distributed by PVF each year comes from donor-advised funds through which grants are made at the recommendation of the fund advisor. Most donor-advised funds are not open to requests for funding.
For a complete list of grant programs at PVF see Our Programs, and read about program eligibility, criteria for funding and how to apply.PVF's "Immediate-Response" grants are available in five San Francisco Bay Area counties. Teacher grants enable public school teachers to request funding of up to $500 each for classroom resources, field trips or professional development. Programs for foster youth serve children in the dependency system and emancipating foster youth, meeting critical needs as identified by social workers, court-appointed special advocates, and juvenile court judges and attorneys.
PVF has created a proposal writing toolkit and other resources for grantseekers.
