Ways to Give > PVF Endowment
PVF is building an endowment so that the foundation can continue the creative work that it has pioneered. Through an endowment there are many causes that can be tackled and needs filled. If you are interested in building PVF's endowment you can:
- Make a contribution to PVF's Endowment Fund
- Add a charitable bequest to an existing will or living trust
- Designate PVF as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy
- Designate PVF as a beneficiary to a retirement plan
These options enable the donor to maintain control over one's assets during one's lifetime, while ensuring that the gift will pass to PVF free of estate tax. Contact us and we would be happy to provide you with additional information.
PVF’s ability to respond to community needs on a discretionary and immediate basis is made possible by bequests and gifts to PVF’s endowment and the generosity of donors’ undesignated gifts. PVF is proud to have the confidence of these donors.
Contributers to the PVF Endowment
Hilda Porter knew Bill Somerville for more that 20 years and strongly supported his work and approach to philanthropy. When PVF was established in 1991, Mrs. Porter made a commitment to set up a bequest in her will. PVF received the bequest in 2001, and continues to honor the spirit of Hilda Porter's commitment to addressing the unmet needs of the community.
