“The Resident Volunteer Program serves guests from the San Bruno Catholic Worker House’s dining room and shelter who are ready for stable housing and are willing to give to the community.  In exchange for doing habitat restoration work on San Bruno Mountain — removing poison hemlock, fennel, bristly ox-tongue and French broom — the volunteers receive supportive housing services.”
